Well you knew it was coming... a foolish mouse decided to see how long he could tread water in the pool and ended up at the bottom. This one
really wanted in, as you can see, by the hole chewed into the corner of the auto-cover. The radius corners of the concrete overhanging the cover gave the mouse a sense of security that soon ended when he ended up in the drink. I scooped it out, flung in over the fence, talked Deb into getting into the pool again, and we're back to normal. I will do some brainstorming tonight to see if I can come up with some way to keep the little buggers away from the water.
