| Seven mile hike round trip over broken glass? No problem! |

| We left at 5:00pm with cloud cover. It was still plenty hot! |

| Our goal in the distance is where the lava is entering the ocean. |

| An hour later and it does not look much closer. |

| We have arrived and so has the rain! Buckets and buckets of it! |

| We are cooled down from our 2 hour hike but soaking wet. The lava skins over almost immediately in the deluge. |
