Last time we chatted we were waiting for a home inspection on Tuesday to find out how bad the plumbing thing was going to be. It was Bad! Plumber says the WHOLE house is the affected pipe and that it will cost 9,100 dollars to fix. Home inspector says it was just from the street to the house, to the hose bibs, and the circulation hose on the heating system. Prospective buyer leaves 'to think about it." So we have waited for his decision. Will he walk, insist on a full repair, want us to drop the price... The suspense has been a ton of fun! So our realitor just called with the news.
Just fix the three things the home inspector is concerned about and I'll buy it. Whooo Hoooo!
So, tomorrow the plumber comes back and quotes us on the 3 above mentioned issues... I am figuring somewhere in the 2000 dollar range. This is a lot of money, but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
