Dinner With A View

Sticking with my diet!

The view from the restaurant!

The Hotel Car

An interesting start to the first day of appointments! This is a shot of the car used for today's journeys through Shanghai. During a long hunt for an elusive address we came across a line of concrete barriers blocking the road. The driver began to creep up to the extremely narrow space between these giant hunks of concrete like he intended to go between them! Much to my amazement, with fractions of an inch to spare, he did it! The first time. On the second set he was not so lucky. The car before you is an Audi A6, worth $50,000 dollars. There is a smaller set of scrapes on the other side too! Driver looked sick as we completed our grind-a-thon and I can not imagine the trouble he will get into.

Good Morning From Shanghai

These shots were taken last night at around 11:00pm local time and then this morning around 5:30am. As you can see the city shows quite a contrast. From the neon wonderland to a smog choked concrete jungle in just 6 hours!

Sleepless In Tokyo

Greetings from Japan! Just one more leg to go and sleep will be mine! Very smooth flight with no issues. The International Blackberry does not like Japan as I expected. I'll keep my fingers crossed for Shanghai. Hot and muggy here in Tokyo but the real show stopper Shanghai, got up to 101 degrees today! Off to sample some strange snacks...
