Kick'n At PDX
Currently hanging out at Portland International Airport while I wait for my 2:40pm Northwest flight out of here. First stop is Narita, Japan and then I'll continue on to Shanghai, China. I hope to keep the blog up to date as time allows.

We watched the storm pass from the safety of the lanai, but the hail came in sideways! The temperature was hovering right at 100 degrees as the storm moved overhead.

July 4th Week In McCall, Idaho
Deb and I spent last week on vacation in McCall, Idaho. This photo album features photos from our ATV run up the east side of the mountains surrounding Payette Lake. Most of the shots where around 8000 feet in the ghost forest destroyed by the Burgdorf Junction Fire in 2000. Great place to ride!

New Outdoor Fireplace
It might have been the 98 degree day we had. It might have been the fact that this thing weighs 450 pounds. Or it might have been that Costco decided to put this monster on sale for only $299 dollars! It took most of the day for Deb and I to figure out how to get the forklift loaded gas fireplace out of the trailer and to the location you see above. A combination of sliding, casters, and a hand truck and we did it without hurting ourselves or destroying the fireplace.
