October, We Are Sad To See You Leave
We have enjoyed a fantastic October here in Idaho with unseasonably warm weather and very little rain. This is a shot of tonight's sunset.
This Is What Happens When...
The pool bar refrigerator door doesn't shut properly. It was open just a crack but enough to let in moisture and turn the frozen cube maker into a solid block of ICE!

Time For A New Passport
After 10 years of faithful service my passport expired. I just received my new (and devoid of stamps) book that will serve me through 2021. My old passport arrived in the mail a few days later with a couple of holes punched in the cover. Glad to have it back for the memories and record of my travels.

The Hot Tub Has Been Taken Away...
The water level dropped one inch on the first day and then three the next. We called for a repair thinking the tub had, after 5 years of faithful service, sprung a leak somewhere. Once the repair man flipped the tub up it became apparent; lots of mice had moved in!
We assume one of these mice have chewed a hole in a pipe somewhere underneath all of the foam insulation. Either way the tub has been taken to the shop for a complete overhaul. Lucky us!
