Waking up to gray skies and no wind right now after a blustery and rain lashed night.
Around 3:00am this morning we reached the Typhoon Signal Number 9, with Red Rain warning in effect (click title for more information on Red/Black Rain warnings) This included Heavy Rain, Gale Force Winds, Flooding potential. Airport operations may be affected.
It looks to be just a normal gray day in Portland out there right now, so we're off to go have an adventure or two.
And as a contrast, I see that it is currently 104 degrees in Kuna, ID.
