Volcano Is Washington States's Biggest Polluter

kgw.com | News for Oregon and SW Washington | Environment: "MOUNT ST. HELENS -- Since it began erupting in October, Mount St. Helens has been Washington state's worst air polluter.
The volcano spews 50 to 250 tons of sulfur dioxide into the air each day. That compares with about 120 tons a day from all the state's industries combined."
